"AP" is the common way to abbreviate "Accounts Payable." Often mated with AR, which is Accounts Receivable. In the context above (which, like the rest of this endeavor, will be based more or less loosely on real life), Kayside and Drakes are in sales, discussing their unhappiness with the company not paying their suppliers. Being sales is hard enough. Being in sales when your company is unable to deliver the product you sell is almost impossible.
